COURTNEY JANE ROWLAND
Co-Academic Coordinator for Football Hi everyone! My name is Courtney Jane and I am so excited to be serving as co-academic coordinator for football this 2022-23 season! I have been a part of the Apalachee athletics family for years. I graduated from AHS in 2014 and returned back in 2018 to begin my teaching career. I attended Georgia College & State University for my undergrad degree and just recently obtained my Masters degree from the University of West Georgia. Over the years, I've gained lots of experience working with athletes, from playing soccer myself and watching my 2 younger brothers come up through the AHS football program, to now working with the football team and my husband's basketball players. I love taking part in young athletes' lives and helping them to make the best future possible for themselves. Let's have a great season! GO WILDCATS! |

JORDI BOHANNON
Co-Academic Coordinator for Football Hi everyone! My name is Jordi Bohannon, and I’m happy to serve as Co-Academic Coordinator for the football team this school year! I received my B.S.Ed in English Education and my M.Ed in Language and Literacy from the University of Georgia, and the only team I love cheering on as much as the Georgia Bulldawgs are the Apalachee Wildcats! I have been an English teacher at AHS since 2015, and in that time, I’ve been a huge supporter of the athletic programs. I love to watch our student athletes excel in what they love to do outside of the classroom. In my role as Student Council Sponsor, I support the student athletes through organizing student tailgates and pep rallies, and I am also the Assistant Coach for the Girls' Basketball Team. I grew up playing softball and basketball, so I understand the high expectations placed on our players, and my goal as Academic Coordinator is to help our student athletes learn to balance their athletic and academic careers to ensure their success on the field is replicated in the classroom and in their character development! |
